History
Here We Grow Learning Center is a family run business. Our owner, John opened Here We Grow back in January 2005 with only 6 children. Since then he married the love of his life, Rebecca (who now teaches at our Gammon location) and they have 4 beautiful boys who have all graduated from HWG. In 2018 they opened a 2nd location on Colony Drive.
Mission
Our main focus is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth in all developmental domains through play and exploration. We have blended Creative Curriculum with the Wisconsin Model of Early Learning Standards to support our goal of looking at the whole child. We offer a comprehensive learning environment to support and challenge their developmental needs. We strive to teach our children the social-emotional skills needed to build lasting relationships. Teachers are committed to laying the foundation for a lifetime of learning and empowering our children to be confident and capable individuals in our society.
Our goal is to provide a place where parents feel confident leaving their children, with the knowledge that they are being loved and cared for while gaining valuable learning experiences. We strive to help children make the most of their learning potential throughout these early years of life.

Teachers
We are extremely proud of our staff and realize they are the reason we are able to provide high quality care. All of our teachers meet or exceed the State of Wisconsin requirements for child care staff. Most of our teachers have college degrees or are pursuing college degrees. All staff members are trained in CPR, First Aid, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, Abusive Head Trauma and Child Abuse and Neglect.
Safety
HWGLC takes the safety and security of our children very seriously. We have limited entry and exit points throughout the building that are equipped with a locked-door security system. Families may only gain access to the building through the use of a key fob. Persons without a key fob may only enter the building after a staff member has verified identification.
Nutrition
HWGLC serves morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack. Our meals are nutritious, safe, developmentally appropriate and properly proportioned. Children are provided with many opportunities to learn food preferences and dietary habits. Our menus meet all federal and state requirements and guidelines. If a child has special dietary needs or requires an adaptation to our menu, we will work with your family to create a plan that will meet their needs.
